Biological Control of Saltcedar (Tamarisk)

The Colorado Department of Agriculture Insectary at Palisade conducts a biological control of saltcedar program using an introduced leaf beetle, Diorhabda elongata. Initial CO releases were made in 2005, and the program shows great promise. This brochure gives an overview of the program.
